Veep The Arts

"Veep The Art" is the virtual portfolio of illustrations by the Franco-Brazilian artist Viviane Fuentes.

Viviane is essentially a storyteller. Depending on her mood, she acts or writes, photographs or paints. She can also suck mango and whistle, chew gum and blow a balloon, so we get two balloons.

Veep is Viviane's childhood's nickname. The sound of "Veep" stands for Vice-President in Canada, as in any other anglophonic language, and it was also a TV series starring actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus.

Veep is also a cultural portal created in the 2000s and a brand for orange juice in the 1980s in Brazil. Viviane loves to be called Veep by her friends.

The name "Veep The Arts" could perhaps be "Veep The Artist" or even "Veep and The Artists". But picture this: the three words, «VeepTheArts»,  one linked to the other, suggests «Veep, Tea and Art» because in French tea is «Thé», with a good accent, not used in the Urls universe.

Water, coffee, tea? Welcome to a section of the artistic universe and dream of Viviane Fuentes, such as «Un Brin de Folie», «Diptych» and «Half Still Life» .
